The Board of Directors oversees the operation of state programs and the Chapter Office to serve the needs of its membership, the profession, and social concerns.
The Board meets quarterly to review the activities of the Branches and Committees. Chapter business is conducted at all Board meetings, which are open to the members to attend.
Most Board members serve two year terms, with the exception of the President-elect (one year as "elect" and two years as president) and the student representatives to the Board (one year terms). Nominations to the Board may be made by any member and are considered by the Nominating and Leadership Identification Committee before a slate of officers is chosen. Chapter elections are held every spring.
